VERY pricey for what you get, compared to other places in Florida. The RV "resort" sits right along the highway, so there is a lot of noise, more so during the day, but also throughout the night. Most all sites are longer term. That said, people are all very nice. The dog park is a good size compared to the size of this 'resort'. The area is across the highway from a nature preserve where you can canoe/kayak/hike. A hot spa pool, shopping, restaurants, the beach (great dog beach), biking trails,... Read More

Our maiden voyage with our new RV and we stayed at the Myakka RV Resort. This was a very laid back camp ground. We did not actually use the pool but it looked to be a nice one. The owner and other campers were very friendly. The camp ground is conveniently located on Rte 41 and close to many points of interest. We will probably stay there again the next time we visit that area.

Our family had a wonderful vacation at this campground. Staff was very helpful as we are new to RVing.Would highly recommend staying here.

Not a good spot for transient campers. Upon arrival the incredibly bored clerk couldn't talk to us but instead pointed to some paperwork taped to a ledge that was our reservation information. Just plain rude guy. Overpriced at $65. Very tight back in spot. Did not see any pull-thru in the park. Water connection broken due to not being maintained. Sort of a gravel spot or at least where gravel was at one time, now overgrown. Good cable. Has wifi sort of. Large rec room. OK bathrooms/showers. I wouldn't... Read More
