Won't be returning. Site was completely gravel, and not well maintained. Traffic cones were used to 'hide' exposed pipes. Bathrooms were not very clean. Men's restroom stall door did not close. Women's restroom door was often propped open, stall doors not very wide. It was unclear which areas were 'private/owners property' and which were public areas.
It is, however, within moderate walking distance from the Tillamook Cheese Factory, and they have nicely sized fire pits.
This a charming campground. On July 4th, they provided a BBQ for everyone and we were able to meet some new friends. They have two separate eating areas both done very lovely. They have coffee and tea available at all times and free firewood. We love that each site had a fire pit. It's right by 101 but at night there is very little traffic. The bathroom was clean but also contains the biggest drawback - only one women's shower and you had to pay 50 cents to use it. If they would expand the bathroom, they would get overall higher ratings. Good location for access to the sights on the upper coast.
