This place is beautiful - in the woods - like a state park. Not concrete pads next to a freeway. Yet it has the facilities you want. The owners have now finished installing full hookups including sewer! If you want to be in the Gorge, at a gorgeous place with lots of character, this is it. Nearby Stevenson has a very good grocery store and there are hikes galore and loads of other things to do - the owners will help you chose. Definitely climb Beacon Rock (it's easy but scary!) and visit the outdoor fire circle at Skamania Lodge after dark.
This campground is located off the beaten path, up in the hills above the Columbia river, but is well worth the effort to find. Sites are much more spacious and private then a typical RV park. The location is quiet, very dark at night, and surrounded by forest. The WiFi was just upgraded while we were there and we had a great signal, although I suspect it may be congested when the location is busy.
This is a beautiful location, the management is very friendly. They let us borrow a local trail book to research day hikes. This is probably the most favorite of all the places we have stayed and we will definitely return.
Stayed here 2 nights. Seclusion and in the woods. No cable or sewer hook up but they do have a dump station. Owners were very nice and helpful they just acquired the resort recently. Had a little trouble finding the resort but with some guidance we made it. Very quiet at night which was very welcome from what we had prior to here. Recommend highly..
Had a great stay. The RV/campground is lovely, out in nature. The place is very clean and has attention to detail. The showers are pay showers, so we used our own, but love the Lodge and grassy area's for kids. They recently have new owners, and they want to make sure you have a great stay. We saw deer and elk to name a few of the wildlife. You can purchase wood - a real camping feel.
