This used to be our favorite park and this would have been our 12th winter! But since being sold it has gone completely downhill. No upgrades, no WiFi unless you sit in the rec hall, no activities or entertainment unless organized by people staying there. The observation area was torn out and was supposed to be replaced. It is still a dirt hill with wires and broken glass and huge ravines from the rains. Owners are not honoring signed contracts and are increasing rent for the 2nd time $100/month.... Read More

Constant water leaks which means the whole park gets shut down to fix them. Trees and brush have been trimmed so much that the dry storage is now heaped with trimmings and home to pack rats and snakes. Be aware this is not the same cozy park it was when Pericles owned it.

We drove all the way out of town, through massive road construction, on Thursday, October 19, 2017 to get to this RV park. We chose this park because it doesn't allow kids... we don't hate kids but expected this place to be quiet. The posted rules are adults 40+, 40 years and OLDER, no one younger... not even younger people with their 40+ adults. That's what they told us on the phone too. So, we get here, driving through to pick a space... and here are two teenage boys driving their car at a high rate of speed, slinging rocks everywhere including across our truck's hood & windshield. The boys were laughing in their little car. They stopped at what was probably their parents' Airstream. They were clearly teenagers, not quite 40+, huh? so, we looped around, coming up closer to the front of the park and three little kids run out in front of us from somewhere around spaces 41 to 44... one of these kids might have been 10 years old.
40+, HUH? No parents around.
We just left... we found another place to stay... we are in our mid-40s, so the 55+ parks aren't an option but we still found a nice place to stay.
Stick to your 40+ rule and we might try again. This was our first attempt to stay here.

This is an excellent park to stay at for the winter. Sites are good size for motorhomes and fifth wheels. There are some sites that are small, so if you plan to winter here you need to get your reservation in early as the park is always full during the winter. Plenty of activities.
Sites are too close together. Difficult to park our 40 foot 5th wheel. Turns are narrow in street. RV's are on top of each other. I went by the rating of 9 but this park is more like a 2 for appeal. Out of the way and quiet is the only positive.
