We stayed here over Labor Day weekend (with my wife and two girls, 7 and 12). It was our fist time here. Beautiful grounds, large lake, activities for the whole family (played kickball, washer board, they had a yard sale, candy bingo, bingo...). Relatively level sites, our site was very large and had a stone patio. The staff was very nice and helpful. Bathrooms were surprisingly nice (nothing to look at from the outside, but nice inside - and VERY clean any time we went in). Very clean... Read More

Very clean pool and nice splash zone area - plus it was actually heated (not solar - actual heat...). Residence were super friendly. Reasonable nightly rates. Slight misses - roads were stone/dirt (very dusty when we were there), Power seemed to surge quite a bit in the evening (lights in the RV getting brighter/dimmer), poor internet (fee for internet, but poor connection where we were), Some old equipment 'hidden' in the woods - beautiful property but just some finishing items they need to take care of. Not real noticeable, but there. Shuffleboard far from the office and appeared to be in need of some attention. No TV. Bottom line: We had a great time, we enjoyed the campground and people, and we made plans to return next year. Really liked out site - 323. View of the lake (the only one in the hills with that view I believe), near the bath house. No shade tree, but this time of year that was ok. When you consider the reasonable rates - this was an excellent place to stay.
