Appeal Rating We have visited the Newport Oregon area many times over the years. This was our first visit to the Port of Newport Annex RV Park. The best single word to describe it is 'deplorable'. Let me be very clear, there are actually two Port of Newport RV parks; the main RV park which is paved with grass and quite nice and the Annex RV Park. This review is for the Annex which is a pathetic run down gravel & dirt field located within feet of the backside of a Motel 6. Why stay you may ask... well when you make reservations on line and pay for them with a credit card, you are stuck. $33.50 per night gets you plenty of dust and dirt with large pot holes as well as an unusual entrance that is long and narrow with a sharp right hand turn through a broken down fence and gate. The main Port of Newport RV Park appears very nice. These folks should be ashamed for even providing RV sites as poor as these in this Port of Newport RV Annex. Definitely skip this one. We stayed here in August 2016 for two nights in a 31' Class C Motorhome towing a Jeep Wrangler.
