This is a clean, well managed park that caters to longer term residents. Some people have lived here for several years, others stay here "as long as the job lasts." Short term, stop-over campers are welcome and we had no problem getting a spot but they don't take reservations. Also, they do not take credit cards: cash or personal check only. We stayed there for a month while visiting family in Norman, OK and we plan to stay there again when we visit in the future. Positives: The daily/weekly/monthly rates are excellent. We paid $305 for one-month - about $10 per day. I did not see any other campgrounds in the area for nearly that price. (The daily & weekly rates are higher.) The sites are spacious and well laid out. They are gravel/grass, very level, with full hook-ups, and a picnic table. Most of the sites are back-in sites, only two were pull-through. We parked in Site 58. We were there in January but there are many trees on the property and I imagine that the place is very pretty in the spring. The Wi-Fi service was excellent. There were three repeating antennas spaced over the property and all it required was the WiFi password which the owner provided. My experiences with the owner and her sons were positive. The check in process was quick and the owner carefully explained the rules of the park. Pets are welcome but you are expected to clean up after them; the speed limit is strictly enforced. I could tell that she expected us to follow the rules which was OK with me. One of her sons helped me park my motor home and even manhandled my tow dolly and got it parked at the rear of the lot for me. Later, he helped me install a new hitch ball. The owner arranged for us to get our propane tanks filled and paid the delivery driver while we were off-site; we paid her back later. Negatives: The web-site hasn't been updated since 2012 and the owner doesn't seem to respond much to email. The web-site is pretty accurate except that it mentions a 6-acre exercise/dog walk meadow that is no longer available. Although the directions given on the website are accurate, there is no specific street address listed. My suggestion is to print the directions from the website and do not rely on GPS or local maps. There is a toll road that it easy to use but it cost $0.35. Depending on where you want to go or how fast you want to get there, it is not difficult to avoid the toll. Sometimes we just paid the toll, other times we took a different route. We didn't find it to be burdensome. There are no typical "RV Resort" amenities or socializing. No pool, no club house, no impromptu get togethers. There is a large laundry room and, most importantly (in Oklahoma) an impressive tornado shelter. There is a really good bar-b-que place about a mile away but any other stores or restaurants will require a drive of at least 10-miles. Blanchard (limited shopping) to the south (no toll); Newcastle (Walmart and fast food, etc.) to the north (no toll); or Norman to the east and north (toll road). The casino is about 10 miles away and there is plenty of shopping in Norman (another 9-miles). This is an Adult Only park and I did not see any children anywhere. I asked if our grandchildren could visit and the owner said that it would be OK but they would have to stay on our space and could not wander around the park without an adult. This place suited our needs and, overall, I would recommend it.
