All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The manager, Kim, and her staff came over and made sure we were all set and asked if we needed anything. We were scheduled to stay one night but decided to extend for an additional night. They have free washers and dryers for the guests to use. The laundry room is very clean. They are doing a lot of remodeling on the building. There is a game room. The bathrooms are very clean. Showers are large and private. There is a dry sauna in each bathroom, (it takes a bit for the temperature to get to where you want it, but once it does it was great.) The other campers at the park are super friendly. Sites are a good size, you are not on top of your neighbor. Water pressure was great. Good Wi-Fi. We will definitely put this on our list of parks to go back to.

The manager, Kim, is quite personable and is so nice! I also did have to ask Terry (assistant manager) a question about our WiFi password, who also was very friendly and helpful. There was a big snowstorm that had just gone thru a few days before we arrived. A lot of campsites were closed due to the snow, but this place had plowed some of the sites, so campers could still park there - so thankful that they went above and beyond like that! They have a heater for their water line too (unfortunately we did not have a heated hose - our hose froze overnight the first night. We disconnected it for the 2nd night, which kept it from freezing.) There are lots of trees everywhere, but the sites are easy pull thru spots and have space between them, the WiFi had a strong signal, too. They are close to lots of places, including Mark Twain National Forest and The Ozarks. They are remodeling and I understand the facilities are top notch, we look forward to checking them out the next time we come here. We are definitely planning on coming back to the area when it is nicer out and will plan to stay at this campsite again. Very impressed!

This is a very neglected park with great potential. I think Good Sam needs to review their ratings on this park, especially the rest room/shower facilities. Hooked up our class A for one night and it was a beautiful shaded park but scary electric/water hookups. Due to the recent storms are spot was a bit muddy and could have used some gravel or rock to keep the mud level down. Our first clue was the dilapidated unwelcoming park entrance sign, however the hosts were pleasant and accommodating and the price for overnight was reflected in the condition of the park. Overall, we would not stay here again...

This campground has great potential. It looks like it was a nice place a few years ago, but has been painfully neglected. The worst experience we had was with the electricity. The power station was damaged and the attempted repair with black electrical tape failed miserably. 50 amp did not work at all,but 30 amp seemed to work. Alas, we had electrical problems all night - not complaining because we weren't sure if the problem was the campground's or ours. Tonight we are at a different campground, and our electricity is fine, so the problem has to be Beagle Bay's.

This park is an affordably priced park. It is quiet with a nice pool for some rest and relaxation. Perfect for a 1 night break in your travels. Restrooms could have been a little cleaner.
