Stayed here for 5 days. The County Fair was going on at the end of our stay which made for a very full park. Loved the campground. The campground is split on 2 sides of the lake: North and South. We stayed on the South side and is the newer side and we were beach side. Full hookups and sewer. Lots were all rock sites and mine was level. Large areas of grass and fire ring and picnic table at each site. Paved walking trail. Pros: Large sites, bathrooms were impeccable and air conditioned.... Read More

Fishing was great and the camp hosts/managers were very polite and helpful. Beach was great and well maintained and the swimming was great. Docks on the lake. Several local things to check out: Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlor, Bob's Drive In, and Archie's Waeside Inn. Sioux City is 20 miles away. Cons: New sites don't have a lot of shade. Will return and enjoyed our stay.
