The Boise/Meridian KOA was unlike any other KOA I have stayed in. It was very clean and well maintained but had a surprisingly large number of permanent residents. Several of the RV's had semi-permanent structures erected around them. The playground/pet areas were squeezed to the corners behind many vehicles. You basically had to go through campsites to get to them and the people gave you stank eye if you walked through. It was not the typical KOA family/kid friendly atmosphere. It was more like a 55+ trailer park than a campground. There were not enough toilets available for the number of people staying there.
