My wife and I are in our upper 50's and just purchased our first Class C 22' RV. This was our maiden voyage, and we wanted to stay close to our home in Newnan just in case we hadn't thought of anything major. Ironically, just like the prior reviewer, we stayed in the pull-through lot 122. The entire park is hilly and well-kept with plenty of hiking trails. Ironically, just like the prior reviewer, we stayed in the pull-through lot 122. The entire park is hilly and well-kept with plenty of hiking trails. There are two RV campgrounds, with the 100-series campground being the largest. Check-in was simple on Friday afternoon at the front office, and took about 5 minutes. We stayed until Sunday morning. There is also a campground host, who came around in her golf cart shortly after we got there and greeted us warmly. The campground is well-kept, extremely clean, and the people were friendly and well-behaved. There was a rally nice playground that several children came and played in on Saturday. 50, 30, 120 electricity and water at each camp site, and two black/gray water dump stations at the head of the camp site. Common restroom, shower facility...but we did not use them. On Saturday, park ranger came around in his truck to let us know that there would be s'mores around the campfire at the main office at 8PM that nice...we didn't go, but it was a nice touch. I mentioned hilly...yes, really hilly and challenging. We were carrying e-bikes that made all of that a breeze and very enjoyable. The humidity on this particular weekend was stifling, but the bugs were nearly non-existent and we made the best of it. Overall, a really great maiden voyage, and we will most certainly return in the fall. It's a great park that I had already hiked many other times.

I love this place! The roads are great getting here but you feel like your out in the wilderness, 3000 acre park. Visitors center and staff are good. Both a maintenance guy and camp host at the campground. We stayed at site 122., all of them are just fine. Lots of trails & a river access. About 35 minutes to Newnan. We Went over for a movie when it rained all one day.. We'll be back!!
