Overall Rating Facility Rating Restroom Rating Appeal Rating We were there back in 2019 and returned this year to find a perfectly renovated campground absolutely breath taking ! The pleasure of having deer walking through and around the campground is so neat ! The best State Park we've ever been to !

Overall Rating Facility Rating Restroom Rating Appeal Rating Typical state run public park. Facilities were good. the grounds were clean, and spaces were level. The place was quiet and had lots of appeal. We rented a pontoon boat from the boat rental inside the park. Do your research first. The boats were in need of upholstery repair and had tape covering the damage. They were also twice as expensive as pontoon rentals outside of the park. The boats motors were governed so low that they would not even come up on plane. But over all still a good experience. Lots of trees in the park so do not plan on getting a satellite signal in most of the spots there, but can in some. No sewage hook ups at the sites. A nice park with great white sand beaches, and very reasonably priced.
