Eclectic seems to be an appropriate way of describing this park. The majority of the resort is taken up by permanent trailers with additions of porches, sunrooms, etc. The long-term resident homes are a mixed bag - some are very nice and others have so much 'stuff' stacked up around their homes that in spots it looks trashy. There is a lovely sitting area with a fire pit, thatched roof patio and sidewalk overlooking the water that makes for great sunset watching. The bathrooms and laundry are pristine. The resort itself is very well-maintained and the staff was accommodating and attentive. This park is just as you enter Marathon so you are a bit far from the actual city. Curry Hammock State park is a bike ride away and there are trails most of the way to keep you off the highway. We would definitely recommend this as a nice and reasonably priced place to stay in the Keys.
