Appeal Rating Eclectic seems to be an appropriate way of describing this park. The majority of the resort is taken up by permanent trailers with additions of porches, sunrooms, etc. The long-term resident homes are a mixed bag - some are very nice and others have so much 'stuff' stacked up around their homes that in spots it looks trashy. There is a lovely sitting area with a fire pit, thatched roof patio and sidewalk overlooking the water that makes for great sunset watching. The bathrooms and laundry are pristine. The resort itself is very well-maintained and the staff was accommodating and attentive. This park is just as you enter Marathon so you are a bit far from the actual city. Curry Hammock State park is a bike ride away and there are trails most of the way to keep you off the highway. We would definitely recommend this as a nice and reasonably priced place to stay in the Keys.
