Haggard's was our official "first RV park stay" and although the park itself was not anything out of the ordinary, we are of the mindset that often times, it is the people or staff that really "make" the stay. It was true in this case! We were visiting Pueblo to be near an ill family member and were looking for an easy, inexpensive place to stay without much notice. The owner was very cheerful and kind and went out of her way to make things easy for us. We were not even sure how long we were... Read More

It was true in this case! We were visiting Pueblo to be near an ill family member and were looking for an easy, inexpensive place to stay without much notice. The owner was very cheerful and kind and went out of her way to make things easy for us. We were not even sure how long we were going to stay, but she blocked off a week to make sure we were covered. She even did this without any threat of a cancellation fee. She took time to give us a good run down of park features including a site map as well as a run down of local merchants in the area we may want to check out. Over the top helpful! What we liked: Spaces & site clearly marked to allow us to park easily. We have a 37' Thor Challenger w/a 18' car hauler, parking for the trailer/tow vehicle was next to our RV Full hookup, 50amp - everything worked great Amenities like the office, restrooms, showers & Laundry room were clean and well kept Dog park was large and great for us - it was big enough to play frisbee! However if you have a small dog, the type of fencing was not meant to keep small dogs in WiFi - decent connection Beautiful Sunsets The owner's recommendation for local eats! She is spot on! What we didn't like: At times, incredibly windy. Not much they can do about that, but it IS part of the location details Although there was plenty of space to park, we would have liked a little more separation from our neighbor Park closes November thru March Although a "quiet time" is established in the rules, there is no staff monitoring for violations. Our neighbor played incredibly loud music. We did not complain, so the owner did not have the opportunity to fix it Although the location was central, it wasn't the type of park that I would visit to do activities at THAT park, it was more like a convenient location to drive to an activity somewhere else

This is great campground with about 50 sites, a combination of no hook ups to full hooks. Roads in the park are easy to navigate. Sites are gravel and pull through, some have a patch of grass. All are level and about average width and long enough for our 37' RV and tow-dolly with room to park the car. We were in site B4. The hookups were normal with no problems. The water is well water and per the owners suggestion we used bottle water for drinking. Even though it is right on Hwy 50 it is very... Read More

There is a pool, a nice walking path around the perimeter of the park and a huge dog park. The views are nice and the park is very clean as is the laundry and bathrooms. The owner is super friendly and check in was a breeze and she even called to say good-bye after we left as she missed us before we pulled out. We visited Bishops Castle, Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs and Pueblo. WiFi was good and our Verizon signal was strong. We stayed June 27-July3, 2017 and paid $28.00 a night with a military discount.

Wind, wind and more wind, I know they can't control this but it was terrible. Hours drive to Pikes Peak, nice gravelec sites. Very friendly staff, clean facilities, well maintained, great wifi. Did I mention it was windy...

First RV trip out, nervous about what to expect. I have to say the owners of this RV were amazing about answering all my silly questions and even giving advice on dos and donts about RV maintenance. The park was clean and quiet. The dog run... let me say this.. I might have issues getting my dogs to accept that fact that other parks wont have this there. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was big and had good water pressure. The views are amazing and the stars at night are breath taking from... Read More

We will be back without a doubt anytime we are in Colorado. Thank you again for making a scary first adventure for a new RV owner a little more relaxing.
