Stayed here for 3 nights. Temps were very Hot during this period of September so I wanted to get an early start from home south of Atlanta so I wouldn't be pulling the 5th wheel through Monteagle, TN during the hottest part of the day. This resulted in us getting to the campground much earlier than initially planned for. A phone call the evening before was answered by a very nice lady who indicated our site did not have anyone on it and it wouldn't be a problem if we arrived early. I was very appreciative... I was very appreciative that it worked out this way and they did not charge me any additional fee for the early arrival. Check-in was very quick as payment had already been taken care of on line. My site was a pull-through but not very level and all the hookups were on the opposite side of the trailer. I had to do quite a bit of maneuvering to get it into the site where my electrical and water lines could reach. A gentlemen who was mowing the grounds stopped and told me the campground had been constructed before any standards had been established on which side of the site the hookups would be constructed. The site had 50amp electrical, water, picnic table, grill and a metal ring for a fire. Electrical power and water were both good sources. Had to run both AC units due to the heat and was able to keep the camper cool all day and night. Our campsite was directly adjacent to the restroom facility. The facility only had one shower and one toilet (no urinal) in the men's restroom. Ladies restroom was similar. Soap, toilet paper and hand towels were always available. Facility was fairly well clean. This was not the only restroom facility in the campground but any others were a pretty good walk from there. The main attraction for this campground would be the Lake which had a boat ramp nearby. Swimming was also available in the lake in a roped off area. I did not see any playground type equipment for children. There were many seasonal camping units in place upon our arrival. Many of the residents did not arrive until the next day (Friday). If you should ever stay at this campground, I would not recommend pulling a 5th wheel or travel trailer into the city of Tullahoma from here unless you've scoped it out first. Fortunately for me, my first excursion into the city was after I had disconnected from the 5th wheel. The quickest way using GPS instructions would have gotten me hung up on a railroad track. Arrival to the campground from I-24 at the Hwy 41 exit was no problem. Overall this campground was fine. It was a reasonably priced stay and about 6 miles from Tullahoma, TN. with plenty of restaurants and other things to see and do. I would stay here again but I would want to see the available sites first before I committed to a location. Some are not too level.
