Beautiful wooded shady campground with many open non-reserved sites the whole three days we were there. If you reserve a specific site in advance be careful which site you choose - most are not level or big rig friendly. Could also be a challenge driving up the winding mountainous road - check in advance. Sites have electric & water - TV reception spotty. Bring all your supplies - nothing nearby. The park itself, the hiking trails, the Appalachian Trail and of course the wild ponies are more than... Read More
