this facility apparently has no rules, because normal camping rules were not enforced. dogs were allowed to roam without a lease, some were allowed on 20 - 25 ft. leases. sites were allowed to have up to 5 vehicles per site. kids were allowed to run thru and between occupied sites, dirty laundry was allowed on the back of cars and pickup trucks, on rocks or whatever. one site burned a campfire 24/7 and burned trash, plastic, and leftover food....stink was so bad outside seating was impossible,... and burned trash, plastic, and leftover food....stink was so bad outside seating was impossible, unless the wind was blowing the other way. language at the pool (by some) was vulgar and horrendous, not conducive to a family outing. same bunch took a bath in the pool daily.
staff was very nice and friendly but did not adhere to the posted speed limit.
not a pleasant stay.

RUNNERS: We didn't run at this campground. Running will be very hilly inside the campground. Probably close to a mile around. The road outside has heavy traffic but decent shoulders. The mgmt said there is a trail that connects to miles of trails north of the campground. Sites are heavily wooded. Most back-in spaces can hold our 34 four foot class A. We didn't use the restrooms or facilities.
We stayed here passing thru on our way to northern Maine. Nice level site and easy to get in and out. Not too far off the main roads so it worked well for us. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Staff was very helpful and very nice. Would come back again.
Large campground with many seasonal (permanent) residents. There is no TV reception and no cable access available. There is limited wifi available; depending on the site you are on. The rabbits are cute, but they are wild throughout the campsite. This means you have to be careful where you step (rabbit pellets) and be careful to make sure they aren't hiding under your vehicle. The bath house is outdated, dirty, and the shower stall area is too small. The laundry room has updated equipment... Read More

The office to check-in is on the upper level by access of stairs. However, if you walk around to the back side, you can walk along the upper deck to get there without climbing the stairs.
