? 9 rating... should have given more consideration to actual reviews than good Sam 9's. Bathrooms, laundry room need updating, site 16 had 9 exposed tree trunks, ; understand that railroad track and insects can't be changed but maintenance issues are important
We were in the sites farthest from the lake and were eaten alive by mosquitos at all times of the day. When we went for a walk down by the lake sites it seemed to be better.
I stayed here from July until Sept 2016 in my 5th wheel. New owners were awesome in helping me. Site was better then I had hoped, felt very welcomed and any thing I needed they seen to. To see the interaction with the young guests by the owners was awesome. All interaction with other guests was great, what ever level you wanted. I will be staying again for 2 months in 2017. Laundry and bathrooms could be updated but were all that I needed.
All spaces are dirt with grass. Sites are terribly small. Only couple of pull thru sites. Trees in way of all sites. Crowded park with very little breeze, lots of flies & bugs, very noisy & rude people. Won't be here again.
Stopped at campgrounds on July 12, 2016 picked out site and reserved and paid for the site on the lake front by the playground as we have a Downs Syndrome and autistic son so the sight was perfect so we could keep a close eye on him from July 17 to July 22 also left our fifth wheeler on property for storage as we did not want to take it to Minn which we also paid for. Arrived back on July 17 and the young man who made the reservation for us had been off for three days. He tried to bring up our reservation... Read More
Stopped at campgrounds on July 12, 2016 picked out site and reserved and paid for the site on the lake front by the playground as we have a Downs Syndrome and autistic son so the sight was perfect so we could keep a close eye on him from July 17 to July 22 also left our fifth wheeler on property for storage as we did not want to take it to Minn which we also paid for. Arrived back on July 17 and the young man who made the reservation for us had been off for three days. He tried to bring up our reservation and couldnt find it at first. Then he found it but the other worker had moved us to a site that was so far from the lake and playground. She told him the reason was another camper came in complaining they wanted that site for two more days so she gave it to him. So we asked to talk to the owner and he said he couldnt do anything but give us the time free on the outside lots of park near railroad tracks. I said no we reserved it a week prior and it was paid for and he said that was all he could do. They didnt even call us to let us know they had did this.. So here is a ruined vacation and no place to go with full hook up since it is the busy season and we are 400 miles from home. Took us over 2 hours to find a park without a lake.

This is a great camp ground for families with kids. It is a beautiful area. The flies and mosquirtos were so bad you couldn't sit outside. The new owners seem to be working hard to update the grounds.
Shower house is outdated and needs updating. There weren't any lights in the men's side.
