Nice wooded park, not too far off of I 40. Unique sites, at least I've never seen them like this. They are huge wooden decks, or platforms built out over the edge of the hillside that you pull your rig onto. Pretty cool. They are level and have electric and water and a picnic table on each one. Several are 40 feet. Plus they are not right on top of each other, so privacy is better than at some other parks. No sewer hookup but there is a dump station. They have wireless but it's on the fritz right... Read More

They have wireless but it's on the fritz right now, although they told me that I could pick a site near the marina and might be able to pick up that wifi. I did and it works great. They are supposed to get their wifi fixed soon. There's no one here to speak of right now, which is fine with me, it's the "off season". Rates for seniors (over 62) Nov-March is only 11.48 a night! Restrooms are nice and have hot showers. Plenty of trails, a playground for the kiddies and more. Downside is there is pretty much nothing in the way of a store for about 20-30 miles. There is a store/gas station near the entrance, but it is closed right now. Might be a seasonal thing.
