This campground is booked solid all year through the online reservation system. Reservations end the week after labor day. The campground is spectacular. Interior sites are quite shady but those nearer the ocean have some sun... when it is not raining. There are only a few sites that will accommodate anything longer than 25 feet. Most are back in and some do not have the site on the correct side of the parking space. The pull through sites are just wide spaces in the road, and most have a slant... Read More

Most are back in and some do not have the site on the correct side of the parking space. The pull through sites are just wide spaces in the road, and most have a slant to them. Sites are all just about the same with a fire pit and cement table. Sites have a black top parking space and most have a space to also pitch a tent. There are no facilities an any site, but there are several rest room buildings with fresh water. No showers but the restrooms are nice and cleaned daily. The only complaint we have is with the reservation system. Because of the rain some people either do not keep their reservation or leave early. There is no way to allow another camper to use these vacant sites. We discussed this with several park rangers and each one gave us a different story. We stayed a week and had to move two times because of poor park management. But the weather was beautiful and it was a good week.
