Pros: Closest RV Park to Yosemite. The lodge next door allows you to use their pool and sells ice cheaper than the closest gas station. Cons:The one other review states that if you have a long rig, you cannot enter from Hwy 140, not sure why that is. I didn't see anything that would prevent you from doing that. Anyway, everything else said in that review is true. My impression was that it was more for tent people (there were a LOT of tenters when I was there). That puts a strain on the restrooms... Anyway, everything else said in that review is true. My impression was that it was more for tent people (there were a LOT of tenters when I was there). That puts a strain on the restrooms and showers. I have a trailer, I shower in the trailer (no problem there), but do not number 2 in it (number 1 ok). Because of that I'm sensitive to the restroom situation. My site was ok, not completely level but close enough, yea they're dirt. No wi-fi, bummer and come on, what RV park does not have free wi-fi these days, even if it's bad. I did not pay because I did not want to take the chance of paying for bad wi-fi. And still no cell service here. No fire pits in the RV sites, though they have them in the tenting sites. Would I stay here again, yes, but only because I do not want to drive 40 miles to the park.

If you want the closest camp to Yosemite Valley, then this is the place. All sites are small and all dirt. There are no amenities. Wifi is for a fee, so we didn't try it. We have Verizon Cell and there was no service here. If your rig is over 45 feet total, you CANNOT enter from Hwy 140 and must come in from Hwy 120 (horrible grades) or Hwy 41. Since we were away most of the day, the main inconvenience was not having cell service or wifi.
