DON"T BOOK #36 UNLESS YOU HAVE A MOTORHOME! has the connections on the wrong side. Which makes very difficult to enter our trailer with the hook-ups right there in front of the door and the ground (DIRT) slopes away there at the door too. There is no warning in the campsite booking schematic of this or the fact that 35 & 36 are together on the same pad I do think the management should warn of this on their website booking page and perhaps suggest the site for vans & motorhomes as they can park... Apart from this Patagonia Lake State Park AZ is a 4/5. Beautiful setting. Hitting 70sF in mid Jan. Great canoeing/boating. Although can be quite windy. PS. Have cc this to the park. Whether they change the listing?

I would recommend this park for any type of camping. It is a well run and maintained newer State Park with beautiful surroundings. I recommend a hike through the Sonoita Creek State Natural Area for those able to do easy hikes. Although we did not fish, reports of a lack of fish were consistent from all sources. If you want to catch fish, you may want to look elsewhere. But if you want to relax, this is a great place to do so.
