We are so angry. Our first day on vacation. We stayed one night at this RV park. My husband was attached by a long term person's Pit Bull. It knocked him down and grabbed his foot and was attacking it. My husband bleeding all over his arm and with a now sprained wrist went straight to the office who first out of their mouth said that they were NOT responsible but my daughter is an Attorney and disagrees! They "said" they would call animal control and took out phone number but we never heard anything... Read More

They "said" they would call animal control and took out phone number but we never heard anything so I doubt they did it. They will have to deal with it one way or another. Luckily we met other very nice people in Yakama so we will try to focus in that. They ARE responsible and will find that out soon I'm sure. Do not stay at this RV Park! It's not a nice park any way. Badly location in bad neighborhoHomeless everywhere. A lesson learned... you get what you paid for!

Online, says military discount. They wouldn't honor it and the lady at front desk was very, rude.
This is a nice older park, appeared to be mostly longer term residents, we were overnighters. Easy in, easy exit we had satellite access. There is some sort of industrial operation in the vicinity, makes a unrelenting fan noise that never stops. I was tired and slept right through it. Wife did not. Lots of trees, plenty of shade which would be great when Yakima is getting hot.Lots of local sevices.
I'd stay at the state park or a truck stop before I stayed here again. Tight spaces and dumpy. Our sad entertainment was watching a homeless person dumpster diving for dinner. Made sure I set the coach alarm and locked the basement doors.
