Was a good facility in past but massive explosion within short distance West, Texas, must have caused downfall. Most of the time nobody in office. Electric for lots of the sites not working. Bathrooms not cleaned in weeks and no TP in any. Park shows massive need for repairs. Last this park is 17 miles from Waco.

We booked site unseen because we heard the campsites in the back are walking distance to the knights of Columbus hall where we were attending a wedding. There are apparently people who live here long term as it was messy and unkept. We were there from a Friday through Sunday and stopped by the office several times through out our stay and it was always closed. it would be a great park if it was cleaned up and more presentable. And for people who have family members who are allergic to cats I would suggest cleaning up the office to get the cat litter box smell out. It's highly offensive.

This park is rated far higher than a 1 I would give it. DO NOT bother staying here. The office is poorly ran, the grounds are filthy, dirty diapers laying on the grounds. The play area is so overgrown with weeds you cannot use it. I don't think the little grass there is has ever been mowed. Dogs roam all over the place, depositing their waste wherever they see fit. The laundry facility I never used do to the fact is was always full of tubs of dirty laundry sitting on the floor and the dryers were full of unattended laundry. This campground was probably very nice in the day. That day has come and gone a LONG time ago. Staying in the Walmart parking lot would be nicer. I do not recommend staying in this park.

Not what I expected given the relatively high Good Sam Rating. Restroom was clean but very primitive bare bones. Electrical switch and plug covers missing (hazard) Interior roads could use some gravel as well as the sites. WiFi not available.

Convienient to Interstate but, not much highway noise. Internal roads in rough shape. Mud and some big potholes. Friendly campers. Overrated in the camping guide.
