We stayed for 6 nights in August as part of our Maritime vacation and family visit. It is in a great location. The campground has beautiful views. The grounds are well kept. The sites are quite close , uneven and in need of grading. Some seemed to be set up backwards, picnic tables on the opposite side of the RV doors. The maintenance, grounds and housekeeping staff could not have been any nicer. They were hard working folks. Four of the six showers were closed for repair, which was not... Read More

We did not receive our Good Sam 10% discount, which is one issue we had with the office staff. We had indicated we were Good Sam members when making the reservation and noticed the morning after checkin that the 10% was not deducted. We stopped in and were told if I didn't take care of it at checkin, that it was too late. Not sure that is good customer service.

We stayed here just after they opened and it was very quiet, so it's hard to judge what it's like when the place is jumping. All I can say is that the owners who run the place and staff are super nice and helpful. It is apparent they keep the park well maintained, but since it just opened the pool wasn't up and going so can't say much about that and I never went in the restrooms, but meeting the owners, I'm sure they are great. There's a nice view of the water with adirondack chairs to sit in.... Read More

There's a nice view of the water with adirondack chairs to sit in. Lots of grass areas for kids to play on. The site was plenty long enough for our 45' motorhome, and for me, the best part was the Wifi. It actually worked good. Many campgrounds advertise they have it but it's so slow you can't use it. The campground had everything we look for, long level sites, wifi, and an open area for our satellite, plus nice, helpful, management.

In our three plus weeks on traveling thru Canada, this was by far our most enjoyable experience. The staff were energetic and very helpful. The sites were easy to enter and setup, the facilities were extra clean, and the Owner was especially great. The location is located in the center of Cape Breton and near Baddeck. The campground was well maintained and nicely appointed. The Cabot Trail is nearby, and most roadways were in good condition. The attractions in Baddeck, in Sydney, and smaller... Read More
