Stayed at Croft in January when temps were down below freezing at night. Water taps are NOT freeze proof, be aware. Nice campground with good gravel roads and sites, some are quite large. Lower number loop has larger, level sites, high number loop is on a bank down to the lake and sites are smaller and not so level. If traveling in a bigger rig, the low number loop is much better. Access from Interstate 85 is thru town with typically traffic and tight intersections, but once you enter the park... Read More

Many Revolutionary War site in the area, and location of battles leading to the turning point in the war. There were only about 5 site occupied the weekend were we here in the winter. Very pretty lake and lots of hiking and horse trails as well.

SC state campground. Some spaces good for larger RV's. No sewer. Equestrian facilities, hiking/biking trails. Dirt pads. Beautiful wooded site. Would return.
