Another beautiful and inviting U.S. Army Corps of Engineer Park. Well-wired. Well-plumed. Well- spaced between sites. Enveloped by nature. And with the America the Beautiful Lifetime Senior pass a financial reprieve. We were the only campers in the electric/water section, and as such had the bath house, which was cleaned daily, all to ourselves. The silence and solitude of the loop were ours for the enjoying. It is a good place for bike riding, especially along the river to the dam. Watching the river barges ply their way along the river is a fun activity. The number of birds, those in the trees and those in the water, was amazing. I think we've been following many of them as we travel our southward migratory route. We will stay here again if our journey brings us back this way.
