We spent three peaceful nights boondocking (there are no services) in our 19' Airstream. The campground is well layed out, with sufficient spacing between each site. The pads are large and outlined with railroad ties and there is a layer of small stones to prevent a muddy site after the rain. The trail to the falls is ADA accessible, and the remainder of the hiking opportunities reward one with the joys of nature. We spent three peaceful nights boondocking (there are no services) in our 19' Airstream. The campground is well layed out, with sufficient spacing between each site. The pads are large and outlined with railroad ties and there is a layer of small stones to prevent a muddy site after the rain. The trail to the falls is ADA accessible, and the remainder of the hiking opportunities reward one with the joys of nature. If you are a climber, there are a number of (grid) bolted routes here, though most are graded 5.10, and much higher. There is a .5 mile trail to the bottom of the falls, a perfect place to sit (and swim if the weather is a hot and humid Tennessee day). We would stay again if our full-time meanderings bring us back this way, otherwise, we have gained good memories and a slew of photos by being here.
