Fort Nelson is the nearest town, but the campground is quite a ways north of the town. OK keep in mind that this is a regional park, something like a state park in the USA. The ratings I gave it correspond to that kind of facility not to be compared to an rv park. There is an rv park with a similar name (Testa River Lodge) a few miles north of this park. There is an rv park with a similar name (Testa River Lodge) a few miles north of this park. We went there first to check it out but it did not look appealing and it is right by the road. I will not review that one because we did not actually stay there. Back to the regional park, it is well away from the road, I think a mile or two into the forest. We were a little apprehensive at first, because it looked empty, but fortunately we did find a couple of other rvs there already and decided to stay. It is a beautiful park with lots of trees. There was a river right behind our site (the Testa river?). It is accessible by foot and you can try your luck fishing there, I saw one person doing that, though not sure if he caught anything. The sites are spacious and well separated from each other. It IS DRY CAMPING, no hook ups whatsoever, though water is available. There are fire pits. For the 20 dollar Canadian fee per night you get FREE firewood...woohoo. The toilets however are the pits, pun intended, they are pit toilets but are clean and not really smelly. There are mosquitos though not a real problem. It was raining when we got there but sunny the next day, but still needed the furnace at night. We had no reservations (and not sure you can make any), we were here mid-week and it was pretty empty, but when we left, it was filling up. I would definitely stay here again. If I remember correctly there is a sani-dump but don't really remember for sure.
