A very well-kept and attractive county park. Full credit to the county for making this available. Nice walk over the historic bridge. We have a concrete pad, close to trees. We were impressed.

Shhh! Don't tell anybody! This is a hidden gem! I had a 30 amp back-in site with water away from the river, on the Western fence line which looked into a forest! Narrow lanes, no pull-through sites. Sites backing up to the White River. This Hamilton County park is very well groomed, the camp staff is super friendly and helpful. There's a small camp store and arcade/pool table room. There's also a stunning new walking bridge over the White River- attached to a 750 acre Koteewi Nature park with horse... Read More

We camped with our dogs, and let them swim in the river a bit, since it was low. It was very dog- friendly, but no dog park. The White River Canoe Company puts in their trips here. One shelter with 2 charcoal grills, nice playground, lots of trees, level cement pads! Gated entry at night with a keypad. Camping host on - site 24 hrs a day. Very friendly. Close to Indianapolis. It did flood this spring, but cleaned up very quickly.

This is a very busy county owned park. For our first visit we were on their waiting list for almost 8 months before they had a cancellation. Weekends and holidays are VERY busy. If you are traveling through during the week they'll likely have a site available. The campground is very well maintained. It is located on the banks of the White River north of Indianapolis. The sites are concrete paved and are equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Most are shady. The park is occasionally... Read More

We'll be visiting again in June. The full-hookup sites are toward the front of the park and have both 30 and 50 amp available. The water connections are at the front of the sites near the road. There is a coin-operated laundry on site. They also have a very nice playground for the kids. This is our always-stop when visiting family near Indianapolis.
