STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAMPGROUND. They said it was full hook up….unfortunately I didn’t have a sewer hose over a mile long. THERE IS NO SEWER SERVICE….MUST USE A DUMP STATION. We were here after a bad storm…water everywhere….electrical quit after being hooked up for about an hour….called, left message….meh…… Skip this one and find another campground that delivers.

Ok I really like staying here. The first time I only paid $20. They only had electric service, but the have a shuttle to the casino and they had complimentary breakfast at the hotel. The showers & laundry were closed last time. This visit I have the Good Sam discount paid $41. No shuttle, no breakfast (covid). But the showers were real clean and didn't have to worry about filling up my gray tank, because the dump is behind the hotel not at your site. Lots of deer ?? on the grounds and a great... Read More

There are not a lot of options available this time of year, (still cold here in the 30's at night) with amenities. I stayed 3 nights and will return if my budget allows. Very convenient

My second stay here. Only came to visit the Midewin Tall Grass Prairie. The water quality was better then the last time I stayed however the WiFi did not work, the storms made it muddy and that free breakfast is still mediocre.

Fairly easy to find off the freeway. Check-in at the main hotel was easy, staff folks were friendly and helpful. Site layout is long with the facilities at one end so depending on where your space is you could have a long walk to the bathrooms/showers. The level concrete pads were nice and spacious but only have electricity and water (free dump station behind the hotel). The grounds were well kept and the bathrooms/showers were clean and tidy. The walk over to the casino for dinner was easy... Read More

Easy check in on a rainy day. Site was semi flooded but understandable due to the amount of rain in the area. Water and electric only but a dump station is available. The free shuttle pickup/drop off at your site to the casino for restaurants or gambling was great. No need to unload the tow vehicle. It was quiet at night except for occasional trains. In the morning two deer were in the field outside our front window. We did take advantage of the free buffet for breakfast at the hotel.

We stayed here last year and really enjoyed it (except for no sewer hook-ups) but this year they added on a $10.00 daily "amenities" fee--NOT OPTIONAL. It is to cover the breakfast that we got for free last year and shuttles to the casino along with a $5.00 voucher for use in the casino restaurants. We don't use the casino so that was a worthless amenity. In addition, the laundry in the campground still is not functional due to the fire last year. They allow you to use the hotel laundry (one washer... Read More

They allow you to use the hotel laundry (one washer and one dryer) if you want to haul the stuff up there but the dryer was out of service. They were nice enough to dry our clothes in the commercial driers used for hotel sheets and towels but the heat is very high. We paid $52/night which wouldn't be terrible if you had sewer, laundry, cable and didn't have to go up to the hotel to use the wi-fi. Wish there were more options in the area.

Very nice facility though there are no sewer hookups. The shuttle service to the Casino was appreciated and easy to use. We enjoyed the morning breakfast as a nice perk for staying in the park. I would recommend this park as a really nice place to stay.

Wow, this place is BAD! In Oct. they lowered the price because they shut the water off. Paid the $20 fee on our trip out to Vegas. Coming back, we stopped again. Still $20, but they have a mandatory $10 amenities fee... so, $30. I asked them how was it now discounted if you had to pay $30... they shrugged. RRRRR... and now, because I am heading north and will be winterizing the rig, I wanted to dump. Yes, they don't have sewage at each site, but I stupidly figured they had a dump station. Nope.... So, I am paying $30 to use $1 of electricity and to park. Yeah, this place sucks. Will never give them another dime. OH, and because they have a discounted price ($20 before the mandatory $10 amenities charge) they DID NOT OFFER GOOD SAM'S DISCOUNT. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Nice RV Park on the Casino property. Note: Checkin is at Casino Hotel Desk. There is RV parking behind and to the east of the Hotel as you drive behind hotel to get to RV sites. Hotel desk is staffed 24/7. Complimentary breakfast every morning. Paved access roads with good clearances for even the biggest of rigs. Sites do not have sewer connections so be sure to empty tanks as you drive by dump station behind hotel. Dump station access from both sides. Sites have level concrete pads. Nice... Read More

Located near a casino/hotel 15 minutes from the Metra station for the train into Chicago and just minutes from I-80, location is the best feature of this park. Services include only water and electricity but there is a dump station with easy access. Sites are adequate in size and have concrete pads. Check in is at the hotel where the staff is not very friendly or helpful. There are no brochures or information racks for anyone planning a visit into Chicago. Free breakfast is offered each morning.
