Sorry this is all coming out as one paragraph--- Good Sam needs to fix this We are 45ft MH/3 SO + toad Some websites say max Length (40) $30 Partial hook up $15 Dry camp They do charge you for not using cash/debit -however, they said nothing about this. Noticed it on my receipt. Many names for this place Trail Ruts Golf Course Larson Campground and Golf Larson Campground No website, check out Facebook TrailRutsGolfandCamp 9-hole public course The campground If you are staying on the Golf course side pull in, but do not go past the road turning left or you will have to back up. Unhook you car. If you are staying on the other side, pull in, but do not go past the the road turning left. Check in, and then you can loop around to get to the other side, it is a different entrance. Golf Course side Back in sites only Gravel and level for backing/puling in Partial hook up water and electricity No sewer A couple of dry tent sites Showers, however, they do charge $5 No laundry Was not given any rules or regulations or a time frame to check out. Both sides, there is no dump station. The closest jumpstation is in Guernsey State Park They do offer water fill station Wifi Golf course side Free wifi available We use Sprint 5 bars, no issues At&T cellphone, no issues, full bars I do not know about the other side Mail/carrier delivery If it says the address does not exist, be sure to put the Golf course or campground name on there and it will make it. I had USPS and FEDEX delivery with out any problems. The friendly staff will bring your mail/deliveries right to your campsite. Sites on the other side of the river adjacent to the golf course Dirt only but lots of shade Some sites right up along the river. Electric hookup only and vary 20/ 30/50 amp. Some sites are dry. Accommodate small campers/vans and tents The restrooms on this side do not look like they are open There are no showers or laundry on this side. Really nice, dark and quiet We were able to fit our 45ft into space 1. Best view with ample space, and a small tree provided perfect shade for the back of the motorhome. However the only spot with a very bright light. But the view is worth it. Everywhere else is dark. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is a clean park, well maintained and the golf course is well manicured. Sites 1-3 have the best views. The other sites have dumpsters or equipment blocking the wonderful view. During the day there is some truck, army vehicles and tank noise, and music from the golf carts on the green, but at night, super quiet. You will hear the 8 am sharp revile army call and that is it for noise level other than the wind in the trees, the sparrows and red winged black birds. This is a great place to stay as you can walk or bike to the trail ruts park, there is also a concrete walk way along the trail ruts dirt road that leads to the entrance of the town. A short car ride takes you to register cliff. Lots of hiking, bike riding in the area. This is a beautiful campground, however, if you are like me and try to avoid chemicals as much as possible, the golf course is maintained with chemicals. The county has mandatory mosquito fogging on Monday’s and Thursdays (during mosquito season). I watched the truck pass through both sides and they drench the area. Had I known in advance, I wouldn’t have stayed here. With this said, it would not matter what campground you stay in including Guernsey state park as they are also subjected to this. So, do not doubt the park, they are following the rules. Everything in this area is drenched. If it is off mosquito season this is such a beautiful quiet park to come sit, relax, explore and enjoy. Leave your campsite cleaner than you found it Pick up after your pet Pick up your cigarette butts Don’t throw your trash in the fire pit ring Turn your outdoor RV lights off at night and experience the stars (your neighbors will thank you) Peace!
