Great Place. Quite and Quaint

5 5 out of 5 stars 09/04/2022

Very nice people and great location, right off the highway. Even though it is right off the highway, it is quite because they are up a hill and above it. They have a nice dog park, a fun activities area, a very nice pool and many pull-through spots. They even have coffee available in the morning! We enjoy staying at this location and if you are looking for something in this area, you can't go wrong here.

Stay overnight. Have stayed here many years now when traveling N-S on I-75 from-to-Florida. Under new management. Easy access, PT, FHU sites. Pool, no cable. Excellent service. Friendly staff. We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice and well kept campground. Sites were easily accessible.

The staff was accommodating and friendly. We were escorted to our site. The sites are roomy and pretty level. Pet friendly with a small and large dog pet park. We stayed only one night but would definitely revisit.

5 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/2022

We really enjoyed staying here. It was a small park but very peaceful. You don't have to get out of your car to check in, they come to you. The sites were gravel, and spacious, and level. The playground was nice for the kids. The laundry and clubhouse were very clean and useful. Trash gets picked up at your site and propane too if you need it. We liked how there were things to do in nearby towns. We would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely park! The facilities are clean, the grounds are well maintained, and the people are awesome! We will definitely put this one on our list of favorites!

Stopped at Twin Oaks for an overnight on the way through Georgia. Very convenient location off the interstate, and our site 63 was very quiet! Clean restrooms and very friendly staff, would definitely recommend and stay again.

Pleasant stay with gracious hosts

5 5 out of 5 stars 04/13/2021

This is the second year we have spent the night on our way home from FL. Easy-in and easy-out. Clean. Pleasant and knowledgeable folks. Asked all the right questions and gave us all the info we needed to check in even when they were gone for the evening. Park was clean. We did not access the bath house. Site was level and perfect size for our unit.

5 5 out of 5 stars 04/02/2021

Overall, the park was very convenient just off 1-75 (0.2 miles) though nothing at the exit to speak of. The park was clean/well-maintained and the site was level with full hook ups easily accessible (site 53 next to the bath house). Had a nice dog run as well as a dog walk area. Had limited interaction with the property manager but was pleasant when it happened. Would definitely stay here again it we are passing through.

As a retired site contractor I personally could make improvements with little effort to make this facility first class but I gave a 5 star rating because of the awesome management with their trustworthy and friendly demeanor. Would definitely recommend this facility to anyone passing through or for longer term. THANK YOU !

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy to work with and very prompt at helping with scheduling issues. Sites are well packed gravel and fairly level. Water pressure was good. Strong & free secure wifi. Could not rate the restrooms because we did not use them. Office & store was closed due to Covid but staff made transactions very easy. Easy on and easy off I-75. Good option for visiting the FMCA Rally at the Fair Grounds. Would recommend if in the area.

Stayed for 2 nights in a pull-thru site. Super easy in and out. Super close to I-75 but noise was minimal. Nice private, family owned park. Owners extremely helpful. Will definitely stay here again. Did not need use of restrooms. Nice pet walk areas.

Great place to stop over. We have stopped here a number of times on our way and back from Florida. Very convenient and nice, works out perfectly. Very friendly staff.

Easy email call to setup reservation - wish it was all on a website but i guess they have a reason for emails. Great quick response when i needed to edit the reservation. Arrived to find clean spot, very clean bathrooms and showers, quiet environment. Right off the interstate so no hard backroad directions needed. Road noise minimal. Will stop in again for sure!

Thank you! We are working on setting up a system whereby the guest can go ahead and reserve and pay in one transaction. We're just slow to get it going ... stand-by!

This is a very nice park and very convenient for travelers. Big rig friendly, and their checkin process went very smoothly. When we arrived, we were greeted and asked our name, the gentleman checked the board and showed us to our sight. After we hooked up, I went to pay and sign in. This is a very nice park and very convenient for travelers. Big rig friendly, and their checkin process went very smoothly. When we arrived, we were greeted and asked our name, the gentleman checked the board and showed us to our sight. After we hooked up, I went to pay and sign in. When I made the reservation online, the first thing I checked was their pet policy. I had to go to their blog to find it, and no where does it specify they do not allow German Shepherds. They do specify some breeds, and their blog links to an article about 15 breeds no one wants to insure, but that still does not say they don't allow them. When I received a confirmation email the next day, it also did not specify them. It says: "Animals must be kept on a leash at all times and may not be left unattended at campsite. Animals may not be tethered to utility fixtures, picnic tables, trees or fences this is illegal in Georgia. Dogs can run free in the fenced in dog run with your supervision. Animal waste must be picked up by the pet owner. Certain breeds of dogs are not allowed to stay at our park due to our insurance restrictions. These include Breeds collectively known as Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, Presa Canarios, Chow Chows, Wolf-hybrids, Cane Corsos, Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskies, Doberman Pinschers and Akitas. " So, I was a little surprised when the lady that checked us in stated that our dogs were not allowed due to their insurance. However she stated that since we were already set up, and it was only one night, then she would let us stay. As it was late afternoon when we arrived, all we wanted was a place to sleep, and take the dogs for a walk. We were not even outside, even though it was a beautiful night. One of our dogs is special needs, so we keep him inside as much as possible when we travel. Honestly, the pet policy is the FIRST thing I look at when I search for RV parks and this is the first time I have seen this happen. Most other parks I have been too have it spelled out clearly on their website. i do think this park is very nice though and would love to stay here again, but it will have to be after our dogs are no longer with us. And I will recommend it to my friends/family who travel in RV's.

I am so sorry that our dog policy was confusing for you. I will go back and personally work harder to make it more clear. Please try us again - we do allow almost all breeds of dogs in the park and we even offer them a very large fenced in dog park to run free. - (Owner)

We spent two nights while in transit from Florida to NC. We enjoyed a very good RV site and found the staff at this resort outstanding. They were very friendly and extremely helpful. One example: I had both propane tanks in my truck to take out for refilling. An employee who lived nearby came by and offered to go and fill my tanks right then so we won't be without propane. This was well after closing time. There were several other instances I could have used. With I-75 about a quarter mile to the... Read More

But the staff made such a difference, I would not hesitate staying with them again!

Thanks for the review! We are out in the country - it's just us and the Shell station at our exit, so bring food (or get a Hunts Brothers Pizza from the Shell station). We are only about 9 miles south of the city of Perry where you can find just about anything you might need.

I'm so sorry that you didn't have a good stay with us. We are close to the highway, which is very convenient, but the tradeoff is that it does have some road noise. There is a buffer of trees at that end of the park which helps. Also, yes, we will be renovating the other showerhouse at some point ... it's all a labor of love and a small family-owned place so we can really only do one project at a time - as budget and time allows. Hopefully within the next 6-12 months.

Overnighted here last week. Clean. Well maintained. Golf cart met us at entry and expertly guided us to our site and had us parked in a few minutes. So nice after a day on the road. Great stop for a one night stay.

Thanks for the kind words. We do our best to escort you directly to your site so that you can get set up and comfortable before you even have to check in. So stay in your rig when you enter our park - we'll get you to your site right away!

Twin Oaks is an easy access park right off I-75. We stayed for an overnight on our northbound trip from Florida. We have a Newell RV and it requires big rig access. I called to verify the parks layout would allow us to arrive and depart without incident and they knew their facility very well. We stayed in slip #4, no issues with tree branches, and our satellite was able to pick up a signal. The road out allowed our rig to turn safely.

Thanks for the endorsement. We do get some big rigs in the park but there has really only been one that we decided really didn't fit - and it was essentially a tractor-trailer RV - crazy big! We try to keep our sites clear and keep the trees limbed up so that all the beautiful rigs our guests bring in, find it safe and easy to get right back on the road.

Nice quiet shady park, we just discovered it on our way home to MN from staying the winter in Okeechobee Florida. All the facilities were closed because of the Chinese virus, but we live in our camper for 4 months and usually don't use the showers etc anyway on the way down and back. We will definitely stay here again, it is the first night of our 4 day travel, just the amount of miles we usually travel each day anyway. You will love this nice park!!

Thank you - we are doing our best to keep everything sanitized and safe during this virus. Our office is closed, but you can come to our sliding window to pay - or just call it in from your phone. We will bring all your paperwork to your rig if you like, or just email it to you.

Thank you -- and yes, sometimes there is more traffic on 26 than others, but there is little traffic on that road at night thankfully.

Laundry was clean and is open 24/7 ($2.00 per load). There is also a clubhouse with full kitchen and grill. There are 2 horseshoe pits and corn hole set. There are 64 FHU sites, most with 50amp. 35 are pull-thru, the back-ins are more shady and have woods behind them. The sites are large enough, and have picnic tables (some with shade umbrellas), on concrete or paver patio pads. There are grass strips in front and behind the patios. Sites either have a fire ring, or they will provide one. Our site was level and long enough for our rig and toad. The sites and interior roads are gravel/dirt and in good condition. They do not have cable, but got OTA stations from Macon. They have WiFi, and quite a few connections, but the WiFi was pretty much useless - so slow! The other negative is that since it is so close to I-75, there is a lot of traffic noise. We still slept well with windows closed and fan on in RV. We will definitely stay there again! $40.00 but offer Good Sam, Passport America discounts.

Very pleased with the over all stay here. Many shady, level sites. Very clean restrooms. Nice outside game area and pool. A little away from town if you need to get out. Definitely would stay again. Probably would give it a 5 star overall if it weren't for the dirt/sand getting dragged in from the site.

Stayed 2 nights. FMCA was having their rally in town, so a vast number of large A's were in the park, and we drive a small 24ft, but we still felt quite comfortable. The site was roomy. The dog park was fenced and had seating, water and shade...there was also another shaded designated dog walk. The staff was very pleasant, and the park was full of yard decor, flowers, etc. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

We didn't use most of the other facilities because we didn't need them. My husband hung out in the lounge and drank coffee and and watched the news this morning while I slept in. He said it was really nice. It's clean and nice and the few long term workers staying here were nice and are taking great care of their sites. It's a refreshing little stop. We've been to other large "vacation" campgrounds with high ratings that were undeserving and pretty awful. This was such a pleasant surprise and super convenient! Don't be afraid to stop here. It's really nice!! It exceeded our expectations by a lot!! It needs a higher rating.

Due to terrible traffic getting through Atlanta, we arrived at the camp after dark. We did not have a reservation, and the place looked very full. We were greeted by one of the owners, who went out of his way to make sure we got a spot for the night.
