This location has the most unlevel parking spots I’ve come across in my RV travels. Had to move my RV several times and then used the manual level process rather than my automatic system. Could not get the RV park office to answer the phone when trying to make a reservation and when I arrived the clerk checked me in but then disappeared and never saw her again. Also, they provided all campers a code to use the bathrooms but the code did not work and thus no one had access to the bathrooms. Once again no one to contact on this issue either. There was no cable or internet available at the park. I would find another location in Vicksburg if traveling there.

Great, friendly staff. COVID has affected park maintenance but we find it to be a clean, pleasant, and price-attracitve place to stay while bing in-transit using I-20 to visit our family further west.

This was an overnight stop for us and I will give it high marks for location! Walking across the street and seeing the Mississippi River was very nice. In pictures the park looks nice, and with the grass and trees around the perimeter it was, but site wise...there isn't a site I saw that didn't require an engineering degree to figure out how to get your rv level. I just left the truck hooked up to the 5th wheel kind on stabilized it and left in the morning. Restrooms and Pool were still closed no idea why.

good rates, quick access to casino. Sites are marginal in size and pads are very narrow. Relatively easy to get in and out and back on freeway.

The review that was talking about dirty bathrooms almost put us off. Glad we went ahead and used it anyway. Bathrooms were spotless. With Good Sam discount it was about $17/nite. Front desk staff were very helpful. Traffic was a little noisy but we've had worse. Close to Vicksburg Battlefield which you don't want to miss.

Stayed 3 nights. Pull-through sites are almost level. Convenient to downtown Vicksburg. Restrooms were clean however, each stall was allotted only one small toilet paper role for each day. This did not last the entire day with the amount of campers. I learned to bring my own TP. Showers are small with good water pressure but challenging if you drop your soap and have to bend down to pick it up.

We stayed 2 nights at this facility and found it to be conveniently located as we were in Vicksburg to take in the historical sites. We did not visit the restrooms, thus no rating. The sites were of decent size for our coach and easily accessible.

Stayed 2 nights. Easy check in, sites were cement and fairly level pull throughs with plenty of space. The only thing I don't understand is why pool is closed when office is closed. Laundry room had 2 washers/dryers, but the washers were out of service. Short ride to casino or take shuttle bus.

Once we were into the Park, it was okay. Our site was a large, graveled, pull through site, that was "sort of level" - we did have to level one side of our rig. The hook ups were fast & easy, there was nice walking area to the rear of the Park for our Yorkie. There was not much shade, so I would not recommend this place for an extended stay, but for overnight it was very good and quiet. We did not use the shuttle or go to the Casino - did not want to leave our dog unattended. We did not use the restrooms, so I cannot rate them - if they are as well kept as the rest of the "grounds, I would rate them highly.

We arrived at 10 p.m. needing a place to stay for the night we had plenty of flat nice spots to choose from....felt very safe... great place right off the interstate...place seems to be very well maintained. Wi-Fi and pool we're not important to us so not sure how those were but this was a great campground for an overnight stay! Bathroom and showers looked super clean. No Reservations required we arrived at 10 p.m. and paid in the morning. Will definitely stay here again.

Our assigned lot had a loose 50 amp connector and the lot was very unlevel. Moved to an adjacent lot just barely clearing the underground power box. That lot was less level than the previous lot. Awful! We had to elevate tires on the passenger side of the coach to finally level. The pool was DIRTY! Should NOT have been open. Awful! Wanted to eat at the Seafood Buffet at the Casino but at $39.95 (price after buying a player card) for anyone age 3 or over; there was NO WAY we were paying that for an 8 year old to dine. What an awful way of telling customers that children are NOT welcome in the dining room. I get it that their business is a casino but if they're going to accommodate RVers with children, they should have a children's menu for their RV customers who would like to choose their restaurant. We've made two visits there: our first and last.

The office staff were nice and helpful. The restrooms and laundry area were clean and climate controlled. The pool was closed. This is a parking lot turned into a RV park; as such, it's nice our spot was level with some grass and a small tree! We were toward the back and the internet worked well. It did have train noise but not enough to bother.

As with most others, very friendly staff and nice campground. However, sites are not level and are rather narrow. The biggest problem we had was the very active train tracks running right behind the park. Also the map of the campground shows a playground, but no such thing exists. Many others may not care, but we have 2 small kids and stopped for the night. Don't think we'll be staying here again.

The sites are gravel and wifi is unreliable. They use minimal gravel and when it rains, there are mud puddles everywhere. The staff is friendly. The location is very convenient to I20. The hotel and casino next door are very nice and there is a shuttle that runs between all the properties that is very prompt. The casino is nice, has good food and is not run down like many non-Vegas options. If you are looking for a place to stop have access to entertainment and dining options without driving and don't mind the average condition of the RV park, this is a good choice.

RV Park part of Ameristar Casino complex. Free shuttle to/from your site to casino. Paved pull thrus, though some didn't look very level. Good WIFI (we were near the office) and cable. Nice restrooms. Pool was closed but looked in good condition. Not very scenic - but is convenient I-20, the Ameristar casino, and the excellent Vicksburg National Military Park. Would return.

We pulled in at 5:30 pm to an unstaffed office, pick a site and pay in the morning. We found a site, connected all utilities, went back to the office only to find it locked, along with the bathrooms and laundry. The staff was friendly the next morning, but that didn't help us the night before when we needed info. It is convenient to the highway, the pads are concrete but short and slope in every direction, the wifi is weak, there's a big area for the pets, but it isn't fenced. I felt it was overpriced.

We stayed at Ameristar on our way east. We stayed only one night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restrooms and showers were clean. There is a slope to some of the sites, but the slope on ours was not severe. Getting in and out in a big rig was no problem. It isn't a gorgeous site, but it more than served our purpose. We would stay here again. My only complaint is that they did not give me a receipt.

Convenient location to battlefields and casino. Really just a big gravel field with hook ups. No trees or covering and it was very hot. There is a shuttle to casino if you so desire or you can drive. Good cable but poor internet access. Staff were friendly and helpful.
