This place is a dump. Half the trailers are old and broken down. These people live here. All of the time. It rained and everything is flooded because there is no drainage The high ratings are a joke most likely done by the owners.

I would give this a higher rating but you need a gas mask when checking in. The office and the office manager reeked of cigarettes. Left one lit in the ashtray when checking us in.

This rv park is a great place to stay for an overniter or longer. It is a good value and easy access from I-20. It is close to grocery stores and gas stations. The park is clean, well groomed and quite, not a lot of road noise. The dog run is large and clean, room for the mutt to run and play. The pool looked nice but we did not use it or the restrooms. The wifi worked great. The campsites or close and gravel but that did not present a problem. The owner is friendly and helpful, enjoyed visiting with him. We plan to stay here again when we travel through this area. The 5 star rating reflects the hard work of the owner to keep the place neat, the large dog park and the great wifi.

We were traveling the great river road in early June with New Orleans as our destination. We wanted to make a stop in Vicksburg to see the Civil War Military Park. We knew we were going to arrive late so we attempted to contact the office more than an hour before their stated closing time. We got only an answering machine and this continued for multiple attempts. We arrived not knowing if we had a site. Three vacant sites were posted on the office door when we arrived and we used one of those. The campsites are very close together and don't really lend themselves to sitting outside. The campground was filled with construction trucks, which made it difficult to maneuver. We attempted to pay for our site in the morning, but no one was in the office. At noon when we were leaving, we finally managed to get ahold of the manager. He did apologize and gave us a discounted price. We don't recommend this place for an extended stay, especially with a family.

This site is more for full time working people. People going and coming all hours, a lot of construction worker (if you are looking for this type of place it's great.) For those that are camping/traveling, the views are not like the pictures. Use Google map to view area (wish I had do that!) Everything has security numbers (bathroom, laundry...), no grilling or fire pits on camp sites and campers are very close to each other The group was going to stay for a couple of days for the history of the area but we are moving on to the next stop. Good Sam Club, needs to review this campground!

The restrooms are nice and have air. The pool needs cleaned and is hot but that is because it is in the sun.
