We stopped here for two nights to rest up after a long trip this fall. The park is nice, quiet, and well maintained. The roads are a mix of asphalt and gravel, but in good condition. The staff (owners?) in the office were very friendly, and suggested things to go see in town. The site was gravel, mostly flat, and all hookups were in good condition. We did see several long-term residents, but their spots were clean and not littered with junk. Red Barn had just put in a new propane tank and filling station but their pump wasn't working; they directed me to a close business in town that filled my tank for me. Nice spot, we will stop there again when in MO.

The park had good sites for our 36ft 5th wheel.. (Flat and long) good cable, and wifi. There are a lot of big trees, so lots of shade in the campground. Was giving cookies and a package with maps and info on the surrounding area. This park is a little off the main hwy, however; it is worth the drive. Quiet. I feel, the park is geared more toward an older crowd. 40 and up. I didn't see any RVs with children. No pool, or playground. Pet friendly

This is a quiet little campground, not far from the interstate. The sites are flat and spacious. The price is right and includes cable and decent internet.

We visited in early May 2017 and park was not full, but had lots of other campers. Easy access from highway and nice large roads in park, had no trouble maneuvering our 41' 5th wheel thru park to our spot or when leaving. We had a pull thru that was plenty long enough for our 5th wheel and our truck parked in front once unhooked. Met owner while out walking and he was very friendly, and was happy to have us visit. Stores and fuel are right down the road and are conveniently located close to park.

Great stopover, next time plan to stay a few days. What a find, super nice people, big rig friendly. Never had to unhook our vehicle behind a 45 coach, led us to our site and showed us how to leave without hitting anything (important to most of us). Really nice park

lovingly maintained camp with some neat perks. A free cookie on arrival, fresh cinnamon buns ($) on order each morning. Xmas decorations very pleasing. Our site was spacious, check in and escort expedient. Quiet. Mature trees. Layout to suit those trees, so one site is this away, that one another way.

Very nice park. We were greeted respectfully and were escorted to our site by the staff. They are very friendly and cooperative. The VA discount was very generous.. The sites were level with wifi and cable. We will stay there again when we visit our Granddaughter in the future. Highly recommended.

What a great spot! Quiet and relaxing with nice, flat sites. Owner and staff were exceptional. They had a special on the night we arrived and we got a hamburger and a bag of chips for $2.50. The 4 mile drive off Rt 44 is worth it!!

We stayed here for one night...were guided to our site by office lady who was very helpful. Our needs are few: a quiet place, good hookups, good spacing (meaning not next to someone else when there are plenty of spaces), good internet, good restaurant(s) nearby, nearby Walmart, etc. This place meets those needs and more. Close to the interstate, but very, very quiet...Will stay here again for sure.

This is a great park to stay on your way through the area or for a couple of nights. Clean and quiet. Wish they had a swimming pool and campfire ring available at each site. Otherwise, it's a great place to camp.

Nice, quiet campground with shaded pull through spots. Lots of grassy areas for walking the dog. The bathrooms were spotless! The only drawback was the weak wifi. We'll stay here again when we're traveling through.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Big Red Barn RV Park. Plenty of space for our 43 ft. Class A with good pull thru's. Staff very friendly and they were doing landscaping while we were there. Will write it in our book and make sure we stay again on our next trip through.

Park was clean and well kept. Bathrooms exceptionally clean with good showers, nice laundry room. When occasion arises again will definitely stay there. A little off the beaten path of I-44, but signage was good, well marked, had no trouble finding the park.

We enjoyed our stay enough that we stayed again on our return trip 10 days later. In addition, it will be a regular stop anytime we travel in that direction. The people are super and take care of those that served and continue to serve our country. The area is clean and well kept. All amenities worked as intended. We'll be back!!

This is one of the nicest RV parks we've ever stayed at on our way south for winter. The park is very nicely maintained and the restrooms are immaculate. This was our first stay at Big Red Barn, but it won't be our last. It's now high on our list of stops.

Nice park. If you can get past the abruptness of the check in girl you will enjoy your stay here. Caution, the park location on the Good Sam trip planner is way off. Follow the directions from the parks website and you will arrive safely. No pool but the cable TV and internet are excellent. (We actually streamed movies here) Take time to go see the Precious Moments Museum and Chapel.
