This is not your average private RV Park. It is nestled in the woods. The sites are lovely. We gave the restrooms a 4 because from what we could see they were but they had to be closed because of COVID. We needed an easy getaway and this was perfect. There are some nice easy hiking trails in the back of the campground, great for a walk with the dog. There are some great mountain biking trails a short ride away. If you want a place to relax quietly this is your place. The owner is awesome... Read More

Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 4 nights in a site for big rigs. This is an adult only park. This park is well maintained with beautiful landscaping. The park is definitely going for the green look which is why all sites consist of grass. The owner's are very protective of this grass, so the rules state no rugs, mats or anything that might harm the grass. Otherwise, we would have used our screen tent which would have been nice protection from all the mosquitoes living in the grass. Instead,... Read More

Instead, we were only able to sit outside for short periods of time before the swarms of mosquitoes drove us inside. Dog owner's beware there are rules about where you can walk your dog. No dogs allowed near the office and the owner's home, they will mark this area on the park map. But that still leaves plenty of areas where you can walk your dog. Mostly long term residents here, but all sites are clean and well maintained. No satellite reception too many large trees. This park is located in a quiet area so if you're looking for quiet and no kids, this is the place for you.

This is the closet campground to the Rock of Ages facility. The campground has a lot of pine trees around the perimeter. We enjoyed our stay at this park but maneuvering our large rig was a little tight. The sites were grassy and the park was well maintained. Access from the interstate required going up a very steep grade unless you want to take a long detour.
