We had a very enjoyable single overnight stay in September. For our rig (2500 series truck and 28' travel trailer) the width of the roads and camping pads were not an issue. Our back in site was next to the lake and it felt reasonably secluded. We hiked a trail that meandered along the lake side through the woods which we enjoyed. No issues with the electric and water hookups at our site, had to use the central dump station for the fluids. With such a short stay we didn't experience any of... Read More

The camping area was very nice. There were lots of animals and my wife took a whole lot of pictures. We had a site right on the lake. The cat-tails were high so we couldn't see a lot of the lake but from our dining room widow we could see a lot of it. The camp ground was not really roughing it but there were not a lot of things to do in the camp ground. Mostly hiking, fishing, and boating. There was a very nice beach down at the office. My main reason for not giving it 5 stars was that there are... Read More

Do not take large rigs here!!! Road are very narrow and you will haver great difficulties backing into sites! I tried to stay here with my 40ft trailer and ended up cutting a turn to tight and having the back of my rig fall into a ditch. Bent a hydraulic jack and popped one of my tires. Be very very careful! If you do try to stay here make sure you scout it out in a car first to make sure you can manage the narrow roads.
