We came upon this campground using the Good Sam Route Planner. This is a "very tired" campground in need of major work, but has a very nostalgic atmosphere. The owner has had this site for 42 years and seems to be struggling to keep up maintenance. Owner and staff very friendly. The washrooms are clean and the showers are free but, it needs a lot of work. The pool was very clean. There is a store with the same limited items found at most campgrounds. There is a pond stocked with Bass and a fountain spraying to deter mosquito breeding. The electrical/water sites are spacious and plenty of trees. This must have been a great campground in its day. Walking around the pond I discovered an old water slide. The pond has a trampoline and a diving platform that is no longer in use. The grounds are spacious with a picnic shelter including a stage. Despite the rundown condition, it is a beautiful campground and I would stay here again.

Wow, this place is terrible. How is it possible it has a Good Sam rating above 2-3. Staff not very helpful, didn't have my reservation and blamed me (the only reservation "lost" on our entire trip). Mostly this is a place where people live and there has been no upgrading for at least 20 years it seems. They never have pull throughs available I was told once I got there. The stench of sewer smell was everywhere. We should have left, but only there one night and that was one night too many.

Checked in Saturday, Jul 1 staying until Jul 3 morning. Campground was near full so no sewer connections available. Electric was issue for the reading on my EMS said 90-107 volts most of time we were in camper - no power for CPAP or oxygen concentrator for my wife - since EMS shuts down power to camper when it drops below 108 to protect electronics. Campground did give us back the $3 they charged for A/C use in camper. Tight grass sites with water at every other site so long hose needed.
