I would rate it 6/10. We did not use the bathroom facilities. The laundry room was clean. Our pad 82 could have used more gravel in our opinion. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. There is a planet fitness close by. Also if you have the time go check out Alford Maclay state park! It's beautiful.

The park is lovely, but we had constant problems with the electric hookup at site #108. It kept going down, and when we called they sent someone to fix it. After two hours, it seemed to be working, but the next morning it went down again. It was not a pleasant experience.

We recently stopped at a different RV Park in Tallahassee where we experienced damage to our coach from a defective electric power pedestal. There was no other space available at that facility so we were in need safe of a place to park after a very long day that ended with a damaged coach. Even though Big Oak was full and had no sites available, they were willing to park us in an overflow slot for the night. We greatly appreciate their willingness to help us out of a bad situation. That willingness to go the extra mile will bring us back to Big Oak and we will recommend it.

Park is located just a few miles off the interstate which we love. Pulled in late in the day , just before closing, unexpected hoping to find a site. They were very accommodating searching through the computer and papers to find a site where we could sit for 4 nights. Work was being done to add a new bath house to the camp ground so that is wonderful considering the amount of campers. No frills but the park was clean and quiet just the way we like it. Close to museums and the heart of Tallahassee. Bring checkbook or cash because if you use credit card you will be charged a small fee. One thing I did not like was they had several campers that were being stored and grass was up around them things were covered for storage sitting along side them. Personal preference-I don't like that. Store at a storage facility not a campground but then I was just passing through. All the people we encountered that worked there were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely visit again

We were EXTREMELY......disappointed at Big Oak Rv park!!!! I read reviews, checked ratings. Good Sams gave them 8 out of 8 I did all that I knew to assure that we would have a good Rv. experience. The campground was totally not maintained!!! Just simple aesthetics would totally enhance the park!! Like rake the leaves, clean off pads pick up garbage!!! And make seasonals accountable to maintain there units!! Honestly after we checked in and PAID!! if I would of seen our lot prior.....ABSOLUTELY NO WAY WOULD WE WOULD OF STAYED!!! I have learned a very valuable lesson...VIEW THE PARK, LOT BEFORE YOU PAY!!! We are beginner full time Rv-ers I have learned from this experience, and truly would encourage this park to just simply remember their vision when they first started the business!!! And literally get....BACK TO THE BASICS!!! The most positive feedback I would leave is that the front office personal was very friendly and courteous!!! That made our experience memorable!

Let me start this review with the fact that I booked a reservation for 2 nights MONTHS in advance. In addition, I called the night prior to our arrival to confirm, he assured us that we were on the books and he will see us the following day. So now it being the day of arrival, being just an hour away. A lady from the RV park called to say that they cannot accommodate us due to several people extending their stay. The extremely poor way of handling this is beyond comprehension!!! Management needs to get it together and not spring this on people that took the time to book in advance. I would highly suggest to take your business elsewhere. Been RVing for a long time and this is the first time coming across such in consideration!

Great location for visiting this area of Florida. Park employees were friendly and helpful. Lots of large oak trees. Very few spots with clear space if you have a satellite dish but they do have good cable tv. Park roads are gravel and wide - no issues for large RV's (we have a 42' class A.) Most sites have a concrete patio and picnic table. A lot of long term campers here but no issues - we stayed 2 weeks. Would stay here again. Didn't use the onsite restrooms or laundry, so did not rate it.

My 3rd year staying here thru the WINTER! I have a 40ft. Class A and a 27ft. enclosed car/motorcycle trailer, so about 70ft. rolling. I've never had to disconnect from my trailer. Supper friendly staff. Reasonable rates and good Full-Hook-Up services... I will give Big Oak a 5 star. Downsides are, Blowing leaves stirs up a bunch of dust, a couple of small shower rooms provide great water pressure, clean and sterile on arrival. There are year round campers here. Some work in the office and maintenance of park. I felt safe and its so convenient to all Tallahassee areas. Cheers! I recommend this park.

We liked this park. Our site was very easy to get into and plenty of room when time to leave. We have a 35 ft 5th wheel. Did not use the restroom but everything else was just fine.

After 7 years of RVing this is the worst park that we've ever stayed in. Granted they were full and L1 is an overflow site. They knew that the site was very unlevel and the levelers wouldn't level us but they didn't tell us. They knew that there was a road next to us and we couldn't put our slide out but they didn't tell us. They knew that the dumpster was right next to the site and that there would be a lot of traffic but they didn't tell us. Yes, they called us to give us instructions if we were going to be late but nothing about to site. And for $40, with the GS discount. What a rip off! We'd never stay there again, I'd rather dry camp at Cracker Barrel. I did give them one star because we had 30A for our A/C. Please be careful.

Easy to find after exiting I-10. Several miles from I-10 and along not as noisy US 27. Check in was average with a helpful, pleasant staff. Roads and coach pads are gravel, fairly level, long pull through's are treeless. Water pressure was a little low. This was an adequate one night stay park.

Attractive campground very close to center of Tallahassee yet feels like in the country. Bathrooms small and dated but OK and clean. Nice size sites. easy courteous phone reservation while driving. They even called me back to check on me (I was in a big storm) and let me know where my site was and that they left a packet for me at office. Overnite sites are very easy to access from the front office and close to restrooms etc. Easy in and out. Hook ups are good, water pressure good. nice park!

this is primarily a extended stay type of RV Park. Many of the units here appear to be permanent. The 20 or so over night slots are crushed gravel and very level. About 10 slots are under huge oak trees so your satellite will not work. There are 10 slots that are out in the open and that is where we parked. Nice people and 2 mile from interstate. Very quite. Will over night there again. We did not use bathrooms but everything we saw was neat and clean
