Very nice park. I only give 4 stars because most of the sights are quite close, but we have found this to be the same with many parks The owners are easily accessible if needed. Bathroom and laundry room is very roomy and clean. Short drive to activities. Very close to the Passion Play. We would recommend this park and hope to come back in the future.

I first stayed here in May 2017. Stayed one night. Came back in July and stayed a month. Returned September of 2017 and made it my home base. Very convenient. Good shade(yes, it does get hot in the Ozarks), and wonderful people. Very sage environment. I travel quite a bit and have no qualms about leaving my "stuff" here. Campground is small enough that you get to know everyone. Many travelers come back on a regular basis. Got to know the previous owners well and were sad to see them leave. Got new,... Read More

Got new, younger owners and they are hard at work improving the place. At the rate they are going I will probably rate it 5 stars soon

Check in was great, the person in the office called us while we were in transit to tell us which side of the office to pull up on so as to make it easier to get into our campsite. At checkin he was very cordial and helpful. Most days it seemed as though the office was closed before 5:00, so something to keep in mind if you will be arriving past mid-afternoon and want to talk to someone. Our site was a "premium pull through". The sites are pretty close together, but we were able to put our slides... Read More

The sites are pretty close together, but we were able to put our slides out without a problem. That being said, I did have to walk onto our neighbors site to get around our slideout. We had to share the water with our nextdoor neighbor. There was a splitter on the faucet so we each could hook up our water hoses, not what I would expect from a premium site. When we were working on setting up, I noticed dog poo and LOTS of flies on the site next door. Talked to the person in the office, and they came and cleaned it up. While doing so, they mentioned people don't always clean up after their dogs and there are several stray cats that hang around...... yep, sure do. We found water dishes set out for the animals at the bathroom and at our permanent resident neighbors sight.. . . . soooooo there were two cats that liked to hang around. . . . I like cats, but who knows when they were last vaccinated, if they carry fleas, and our sight seemed to be their litter box. . . . we didn't realize that until we tracked it into our RV. . . . yuk! The bathroom/shower doesn't have a code for access, so it's open to anyone. We saw people pull in off the highway, use the restroom and be on their way. We also saw people pull in with their shower stuff, take showers and leave. Didn't make me feel very secure. If that's a service the RV park offers to people not staying at their park, that's fine, but it should be disclosed. There isn't cable, but our antennea pulled in quite a few stations, including two or three "local" stations from the Ft. Smith and Fayetteville areas. All in all, the experience was good, but I'm not a fan of strangers in the campground using the facilities or stray animals, so probably wouldn't make this my first choice for an RV park next time in the area.
