This Corps of Engineers campground is an excellent park the staff is friendly and helpful. The roads are paved, and the sites are gravel, huge, generously spaced, mostly shaded, and level. This is an excellent base for bike riding, either on the local trails, or nearby rural roads. Fishing a-plenty in the tailwaters of the dam, or on Red Rock Lake.
