We stayed twice over 3 months, 1 night each stay while traveling through the area. The park is off of I-15 (Exit 191) along I-15 frontage road with access to/from I-40 along a 2-lane secondary road through Daggett. Not much to choose from in the area so make reservations in advance. Registration parking is in front of the office in a single file line requiring 2 90 degree turns to get into the park. The interior roads and site parking pads are dirt/sand/gravel mixture. The interior roads... Read More

The interior roads and site parking pads are dirt/sand/gravel mixture. The interior roads and turns are a little narrow & tight impacting maneuvering larger RV’s. The sites are a mixture of back-ins and pull thrus. The spaces are not clearly defined so there was some vehicle intrusion into the roads. Our site was just long enough to say connected to a toad. Sites had just enough room for opening slides. Generally speaking, the sites are generally level and flat except for #16. It has a significant swale making it difficult to get level. Distance & vegetation established privacy between the sites but the sites are close. They have full hook ups – water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. Utility pedestal connections about center of sites. Strong water pressure. The sewer connection was at the ground so it was easy to establish a downhill flow. There was an outside table & BBQ grill. Only a few sites had fire pits (extra cost). There were quite a few trees scattered throughout the park and around the perimeter so satellite reception would be dependent upon your site and dish configuration. The park brochure listed 24 cable channels including 4 major networks but the information was not accurate. The picture on the major networks was fuzzy. There was a problem with 2 other channels in cross audio/video signals. The park is aware explaining they are expecting an upgrade to the service. No mention of OTA broadcast channels. Didn’t try to get any broadcast channels. Didn’t try the park provided WiFi or our NET10 hotspot so don’t know about reception. On prior stay we did use our NET10 phone with good reception. There was one designated fenced pet areas with a dirt/sand surface located in a corner of the park. There were bag dispensers and collection stations for waste in the fenced pet area and along each row of sites. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park’s roads. We would stay here again when traveling through the area due to limited options. TIP: Trees would obstruct satellite reception in sites 28 – 35, and 46 – 55. There might be satellite reception in sites 36 – 45. Sites 12 – 27 have the best chance of satellite reception.

Our 60th stop was another KOA in Barstow/Yermo. Just off the highway (minimal highway noise) and convenient to gas and some fast food options, we liked the park. Nicely spaced sites with some trees for shade, a number of amenities, great backdrop of the mountains, level pads and good WiFi. Not many choices between Las Vegas and here but would recommend this as a good stopping point. Remember that you are in the desert and there is no grass and there will be dirt and dust. Overall, would rate it... Read More

We stayed one night with our travel trailer and found this facility to be very adequate but rather pricey. We were given a graveled pull-through site which, due to the forward location of utility hookups, made it impractical to leave the truck connected. Our site was wide enough to not feel cramped and there are tall oleander privacy hedges between sites and tall shade trees. Our site also had a charcoal grill installed next to the picnic table. We did not use the restrooms/showers and, probably... Read More

Our site was wide enough to not feel cramped and there are tall oleander privacy hedges between sites and tall shade trees. Our site also had a charcoal grill installed next to the picnic table. We did not use the restrooms/showers and, probably because we were at the far north end of the facility, there was no WI-Fi service at our site. The lady in the office was friendly. Traffic noise from nearby I-15 was present but we didn't find it a problem. One thing we noted is that the architect who laid out this facility got it 90 degrees off. All sites are oriented east-west which renders the nice trees nearly useless for providing shade from the afternoon sun. In summary, we feel this is a decent park but the poor orientation, lack of WI-FI to all areas of the park, awkward location for hookups would have knocked off one star, but the high price took another star off our review.

Dog owners happy place! Huge fenced run, easy freeway access, gas stations next door are big enough for 35' with toad without blocking the world when filling up. Staff and other campers were very friendly and helpful. Pull thru was easy to navigate and room for slides was not a problem, toad even fit in without unhooking. Hook ups were in good working order, would definitely stay here again on my way to adventure. We didn't use the restroom facilities so no review but just having the dog run gave... Read More
