Overall Rating Facility Rating Restroom Rating Appeal Rating Very large campground that is broken into many areas. We found the campground to be clean and well maintained. The campground is close to many of the attractions in the Cavendish Area. We stayed in section F which is a large open field. There is no bathrooms or showers in this section of the campground. Many of the tree lined sites do not have 3-way hook-ups. Our first site #37 was not very level. No matter which way I put our 30 foot trailer, I could not get it leveled. I went back to the office and asked for a different site and they gave me 3 other sites to pick from. So ended up picking site 30. This site was all grass and was level for the most part. The way the sites are positioned, you are sharing a post with your neighbor, leaving the other side (door) facing your neighbors site. There is little to no privacy. The hook-ups were in the middle of the site and were easily accessed. I needed all of 2 hoses to reach the sewer. Power was sufficient as was the water pressure. The site did have cable but you need to have a coupler in order to use their cable. We did not have one! It appears that open camping is the norm in PEI for larger trailers and big rigs. Many of the other campgrounds appear to be out in the open as well. The campground has a rec. hall and pool. We did not use the pool as it was often filled with kids.
