The staff could not be friendlier or more welcoming. The bathrooms were kept immaculately clean and the owner paid attentio0n to every detail. There is a snack bar and the wings are some of the best I have had.The park is easy to get to and easy in and out. Lake Erie is literally right across the street. There is also a lpond on the property Everything from wonderful baked goods to groceries and hardware are accessible by bicycle. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return often.

Westfield/Lake Erie KOA 8001 NY-5, Westfield, NY 14787 This KOA is easily accessible from I-90 in northwest NY from the Westfield exit (Route 394), however, if coming from the west, you can avoid the toll booth and small toll by exiting at Shortman Rd and following NY5 to the campground. Upon entering the facility you'll notice a beautifully maintained office and pool area, and the rest of the campground is equally maintained. The shower house at the office is clean and updated, and the pools and playground are as well. Laundry facility is clean and updated, and offers 4 washer and dryer sets for $2.00 per load (each). The owner of the KOA has his own food truck, and will deliver pizza, wings, or smelt right to your campsite. We were greeted by a friendly staff, and even the camper escorts and grounds crew were quite friendly, stopping to chat frequently, and always saying hi as they passed by. Upon a camper's departure, the staff was immediately at the vacated site to ensure that all was well for the next arrival. There is a decent sized pond for fishing (some of the biggest blue-gill I've ever seen), and Lake Erie is just across the road, about 300-400 yards. If you're lookng for things to do in the area, Erie PA and Presque Isle are only about 30 minutes away, there is a winery/vineyard trail in the immediate vicinity, and it's only about 1 hour and 15 minutes to Niagara Falls. Sites and driveways in the park are all stone, and some sites will require additional effort to level your unit, but we didn't notice anything that we would consider to be terribly bad. If it's extremely dry out, they even water the driveway to keep the dust to a minimum. Drives and site entrances can be a bit tricky for larger rigs, due to narrow lanes and sites that aren't quite angled well enough to make pulling into your site easy. Many of the sites are "buddy" sites where you can face awning to awning with your camping friends. The water, electric, and sewer connections are all updated as well. There is plenty of shade available with both mature and semi-mature trees throughout the park. If you're wanting to have a camp-fire, be forewarned that firewood at the campground is a bit steep at $7.50 for 12 pieces, but we were able to find a local guy selling it for $5.00 for 15+ pieces. Cable TV was also an additional fee. Being situated between I-90 and NY-5, there is some road noise, but it didn't bother us at all. Another issue that we find common with campgrounds near interstates is that you have a frequent turnover of campers because folks are just stopping for 1 night while on their journey. All in all, this is a campground that we would certainly return to and recommend to our friends. We give it a 4.5 our of 5 stars, with the only real drawbacks being tight roads and slightly unlevel sites.

Long enough to stay hooked up level gravel pull through with some shade, grass, picnic table. Good utilities and WIFI, extra cost for cable. Nice view of Lake Erie from the park across the road, and good food at the campground food truck.
