First off, you just can't beat this location if you want to visit Half Moon Bay or the surrounding areas. The park borders the Ritz Carlton and many of the spaces overlook the golf course and the ocean beyond. The park itself is going through a rebuild phase with new management working hard to upgrade electric and other facilities. First off, you just can't beat this location if you want to visit Half Moon Bay or the surrounding areas. The park borders the Ritz Carlton and many of the spaces overlook the golf course and the ocean beyond.
The park itself is going through a rebuild phase with new management working hard to upgrade electric and other facilities. In general though, the park's grounds and facilities are already on par or better than other parks in the area, and most spaces are large enough to park your RV, car, and still have room to sit out a the provided picnic table. All spots have 20, 30 and 50 amps, water and sewer, but the sewer connections are small so make sure you have an adapter for your sewer hose that supports all size lines...
The new manager is also working hard to rebuild the park's bad reputation of having just too many rules and a manager that would yell at customers for pretty much anything. There are still enough rules to keep it a nice place to stay, but not so many that you are intimidated by them.
The rates have gone up this year though, with the daily rate being just over $75 with the AAA discount and $2 a day for pets. Wi-Fi is now free.
