Driving a 37ft Class A motorhome towing a motorcycle. Easy to get to and very convenient to West Yellowstone. We were pleasantly surprised with the view and cleanliness of this park. Site 70. It is NOT a level site! No sewer hook up either (wish I had known they have full hook up and half hook ups!) My fault. Restroom was really clean but the showers could use a good scrub. Water pressure and heat was good, though. Be sure to make reservations at the Yellowstone Playhouse for dinner and... Read More

Trash pick up each day was very convenient. We ended up extending our stay another day and the fees to do so were crazy but glad we stayed.

Henry's Lake is an extraordinary place to camp! To say it is beautiful doesn't do it justice. We stayed in the CADDIS LOOP on one of the full hookup sites (#58 I think). We were right on the slough so enjoyed eagles, pelicans, swans, and other waterfowl. It was breathtaking! We were there four nights as we met up with my son & family & dog traveling from Kansas to Alaska. We travel with our doodle, Daffodil, in our 17 foot hybrid. It was a back in site. Our daughter and her two children... Read More

Our daughter and her two children joined us for this great time of family and fun. We were about 15 minutes from West Yellowstone, so fairly easy access to the park. Restrooms were very nice showers not perfect but it was all good. Our site was very close to that restroom--yay! We enjoyed walking the kids and dogs around and visiting with travelers. This was a huge highlight we took stunning pictures (and silly ones too). We certainly HOPE to stay there again.

We weren't able to find space at the campgrounds within Yellowstone so Henry's Lake was the next best thing - we were very pleasantly surprised! Very clean, well-kept campground right on the shores of Henry's Lake. Sites are all gravel and level. Lots of green grass, but trees/shade are not the most abundant.

Very nice state park on a lakeshore. Great views thanks to the spacious sites especially in the new part with only few small trees. An excellent alternative to the crowded campsites in West Yellowstone and the Yellowstone National Park. The toilets in the old part were in renovation. New and very clean, but limited toilets in the new part. We can highly recommend the state park.

Very nice state park with nice roomy RV spaces and a great view of the mountains and Henry's Lake. Full service spaces are new with very nice showers and restrooms. The other RV spaces are nice also. Very quiet at night. This park is not crowded compared to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park but you are only 15 miles from West Yellowstone. You are also close to both Mesa Falls and two old gold mining towns among other sights. Mostly locals from Idaho and Utah stay here. It is... Read More
