Campground is all but derelict, only 4-5 units here for the 2 nights we stayed. It is close to the freeway, so pretty noisy. The pool is empty, laundry not working and trash piled near the restrooms and laundry building. I would not stay here again.

probably will not stay here again. you get what you pay for. bit older and rundown. playground and volleyball court over grown with weeds. firpit had beer cans in it when we arrived and bit harder to find the spot because there were no numbers to label it. there was no water in the platte so we couldn't fish. the "British" shop didn't have many British goods. pool was refreshing and pretty clean. the cabins looked nice from outside.

This could be a very nice campground. Small older park with small sites barely large enough for 40 ft. MH. And although sites are advertised as pull through, it is impossible to leave car attached. Good Wifi, however there is no cable, although ad in Good Sam book along with the website state that there is. Spoke with manager and got the impression, that it has been sometime since there was cable available. And because of the trees, it is pretty difficult to use satelite and antenna is virtually... Feel GS rating is too high. Would not stay again.

My husband and I stayed here for one night during our US Road Trip. The couple who ran the campsite were really helpful and lovely. The campsite was very quiet so we got the best nights sleep of the trip. During our US Road Trips we prefer to stay at and support small, private campgrounds were possible. Also, we were able to fill up with cheaper bio fuel at their gas station at the front of the campsite. As our RV was a bit of a gas guzzler this came in handy. Great stay!

Stayed two nights on return trip to Texas. Also caught the Eclipse. Here are our thoughts: Pro's: great wifi great H2O pressure lots of shade under old cottonwoods Con's: sites are old and unkept - fire pits not cleaned grass at site is unkept and mostly weeds most picnic tables are wrapped and uneven pull thru sites are crumbling asphalt cracking and disintegrating Owners are nice enough and putting $$ into gas pumps but layout need major renovation. Good enough for an overnight but... Read More

Registration is in an old gas station building - gas pumps have been removed and front of station has orange safety fence surrounding where they were. We passed it the first time because it looked like an abandoned building. Registration person was friendly. We have an extra wide rig but were able to make it over the one lane bridge that crosses the Platte River to get back to the campground. We had lot 40 which has a tight squeeze between two trees at the entrance of the lot. Site was fairly... Read More

We had lot 40 which has a tight squeeze between two trees at the entrance of the lot. Site was fairly level with concrete pad. Fire ring was full of empty beer bottles and leafs from last fall were still apparent throughout the campground. Restrooms were clean though in need of updating. Pool is still green with debris on top. The playground looked to be freshly painted. It appears that they are making some improvements but we would not stay there again.

This park needs a lot of TLC and yard up keep. Although they have pull throughs you have to go through one site to get to yours. This is not a big rig friendly rv park. The lay out was for smaller units than my 35' 5th wheel. The sites some asphalt under the dirt was level and small. On the good side the power 50amp was good, wifi signal also good. The pool was drained, play ground was dated. The grouinds needed a good leaf and branch pick up then a good mowing. I just think the owners are in over... Read More

In its day this must have been one great park. For an over night stop not to bad.

A Gem in the rough! Rustic Treed Campground. Sites need some love due to neglect of prior owners, New owners have fixed the essentials, electric, water, cable, dump station and fire pits, decent internet, some sites will get satellite. Bath and showers are neat and clean. Laundry is well maintained, Peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend a stay.

My husband and I were traveling to NY and decided to stop a bit early to enjoy a nice evening. Had a very slow check in but the gentleman was very nice and humorous. Got to our site and the electric wouldn't work. The campgrounds seem to be in a bit of disrepair with wood strewn about and needed to be mowed and raked. Went to the pool expecting a chance to relax and swim but it was greenish and didn't seem to be running or filtering. Leaves floating in abundance as well. Gasoline was advertised... Read More

Went to the pool expecting a chance to relax and swim but it was greenish and didn't seem to be running or filtering. Leaves floating in abundance as well. Gasoline was advertised as $2.39/gallon for super premium which was not available (pumps were taped off) but regular unleaded was $3.04/gallon much higher than down the road. All in all, I would not recommend this campground as there are more with higher ratings very close by.
