We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed our stay in the RV park. The surrounding mountain views were stunning, the cafe served really tasty foods ( the best: giant cinnamon rolls and yummy milkshakes) and e en has a very nice outdoor patio. The gift shop and little market has most things you might need. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had to drive a few miles to Redfish Lake, Stanley, etc, but it is a beautiful drive thru amazing country. The RV park is actually a grass and gravel lot with shared hookups stations. The sites are somewhat unlevel, so bring your blocks. There is little to no shade but trees do surround the area. The weather is usually cool, so probably no need to worry about heat. The sites are fairly close together and sometimes the hook ups are on the passenger side of your rig, so bring extensions for your sewer and water hoses. The WiFi is really good but Verizon is non-existent. We will come back...for beautiful location and those cinnamon rolls!

We spent four days at Smiley Creek Lodge and had a great time. The sites are dirt and many aren't particularly flat but that didn't prevent us from leveling our 34' class A motorhome. Wifi is only available at the restaurant/store and there is no cell service in the valley so prepare to unplug. The views here are awesome - this is truly an amazing valley and Stanley is just a short drive away for more services. We're already planning to come back next year. Dog friendly for all breeds.
