The signs on the highway need updating and the entrance is hard to see unless you really look for it. The GOOD: The buildings seem to be in good shape, but the office building needs maintenance and painting on the outside and better organizing inside. The staff are very friendly. The pool is very inviting, the laundry has 3 washers ($1.75 for 30 minutes) and 4 dryers ($1.75 for 45 minutes) and is very well maintained and clean. The restrooms and showers are pretty nice and are kept very clean. The campground does have activities including ice cream social in the evening. The BAD: The miniature golf course could use a little more maintenance and cleaning. The trees need trimming throughout the site #74, had to have the limbs pulled back to get my 5th Wheel in. The trees next to the roads will brush against the RV and you have to watch carefully. Gnats are horrendous during the day. The premium sites, like mine, did not have sewer, only 5 sites do. Power went out twice...the campground well will not pump without electrical power and apparently the well has no backup power generator. The premium sites next to the Arkansas River are on a bluff about 15 feet above the river, but you can get down to it.

We went to this park and stayed a total of about an hour before packing up and leaving! It was awful! The best thing probably about this park is the swimming pool. I should have realized when I saw their sign from the road. It looked like it was the original sign and hadn't been painted or cared for in over 20 years! The rest of the buildings looked very old and un-cared for. It really looked like no one had put any money into this park in years! There is literally no shade for most sites. There was also no grass except for at the dog park. The sites were not level by any stretch of the imagination. The put-put course was old, falling apart and had twigs and branches and debris of all sort all over it. You couldn't have played it if you wanted to. There is no cell service at this park; at least with Verizon. And, the Wifi did not work at all. Don't stay here. There very little redeeming value at/in this park.
